Reporting to the Hard Services Team Leader, you will work as part of a multi skilled team, to ensure that the assets, building fabric, services and estate that are the responsibility of G4S Facilities Management (Ire) are safely and efficiently maintained in line with contract and statutory codes. Key responsibilities Respond to and carry out PPM, reactive tasks and Life cycle programme requirements, to ensure quality and safety in line with specified service levels and costs. Maintain and maximize use of CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) system and ensure all works are completed and closed within the agreed time frames. Help to promote good working practices and assist in achieving quality, safety and environmental accreditation within programme,maintaining a safe and secure environment for service users, staff and visitors. Use worksheets actively and accurately for the benefit of performance reporting, to demonstrate good working practice. To develop and maintain effective working relationships with the team, at all levels and Clients to ensure customer needs are understood, delivered and confidence and pride in standards is maintained. Responsible for identifying, replenishment and stock control of equipment spares. Perform repair and maintenance tasks on doors, furniture, fixtures and appliances in an effective and timely manner Investigate possible problems and propose solutions Carry out all kinds of minor repair, carpentry, painting and janitorial duties Perform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basis Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance job Maintain building fabric, floors and ceilings General Housekeeping duties; Maintain cleanliness of plant-rooms etc. Essential Will have gained general technical experience in an FM environment and can provide evidence of how that knowledge has been used, and developed. Good all-round technical skills with clear evidence of current skills and knowledge applied within an active and safe environment Familiar with modern tools and equipment used in repair and maintenance work Hands-on experience in repairing furniture, fixtures and plumbing tasks. Have a good command of the English Language Desirable Be available for overtime when scheduled A self-starter, who is able to prioritise, plan and manage their own time in accordance with assigned workloads Skills: Building maintenance General Maintenance Stock Control problem solver Safety Benefits: Paid Holidays Pension Fund Group Life Assurance
