Job Description We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager, with a focus on driving service excellence, team performance, and commercial success to join our award-winning team. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading all operational aspects across M. Fitzgeralds and The Residence Hotel. Your focus will be on ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards, developing your team, and driving revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring operational expertise and a deep understanding of hospitality service. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of bar, restaurant, and event services. Ensure smooth service delivery across all departments with consistent attention to detail and guest satisfaction. Monitor service standards and SOPs, ensuring compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement. Lead service during peak periods to maintain standards and support the team. Train and mentor F&B supervisors and team members to achieve performance excellence. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and guest-first mentality. Build strong communication across shifts and departments. Create and manage rosters in line with business demands and budget requirements. Drive engagement by aligning with the groups five employee values and performance management processes. Encourage internal progression through structured development plans. Ensure a warm, welcoming, and professional service is consistently delivered. Monitor and respond to guest feedback (including online reviews and mystery guest reports), identifying opportunities for service improvements. Implement and promote upselling and cross-selling strategies. Work closely with finance and stock control teams to manage beverage and food margins. Monitor daily sales and performance reports; take corrective action where required. Ensure effective cash control, stock rotation, ordering, and waste management procedures. Ensure F&B operations comply with HACCP, fire safety, and health & safety legislation. Professional Requirements and Experience Minimum 35 years experience in a senior Food & Beverage management role Hotel or hospitality management qualification preferred Proven track record in driving service Familiarity with POS systems, stock control software, and MS Office Creative and commercially aware with a passion for quality and innovation Core Competencies Strong leadership and motivational skills Deep knowledge of bar and restaurant operations Passion for food, drink, and delivering exceptional guest experiences Excellent organisational and time management abilities Financial literacy and data-driven decision making Skilled in coaching, mentoring, training and developing teams Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Gym
