Project Controls Skills As a construction manager you are responsible for the construction of your scope in its entirety.
As such, you must demonstrate a full and through understanding of all elements of the project delivery: You must understand of the scope under your control, and put in place plans to deliver the same: - Start-up and ramp; execution; ramp down.
Scope change control.
You must understand the schedule for your scope and ensure that you are monitoring the progress in line with the overall project indicators.
You must ensure that the project is in control at all times.
Quality and safety indicators must be reported in line with the overall programme indicators and must reflect the performance of individual foremen and supervisors.
These indicators must be reviewed with all supervisors and foremen weekly.
Your quality goals are the same as the overall project.
Essential Criteria for the Role: At least 5 years' experience in the management of construction projects and multidisciplinary construction teams.
Demonstrated capability in Construction delivery within specialised industrial sectors including, for example, Life Sciences, Pharma, Mission Critical & Data-Centres, etc.
Demonstrable experience in the promoting and ensuring exemplary standards of health and safety on construction projects.
Proven ability to understand and contribute to the development of project implementation for construction projects.
