Are you a Senior Data Scientist eager to define and own the AI function from scratch?
A rapidly growing SaaS company in Dublin is hiring its first Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of the platform’s intelligence layer. This is a true greenfield opportunity giving you the chance to establish and scale the AI function over time. The company aims to become a global leader and a billion-dollar business and is not behind, having over 20 million in financial backing to continue expanding their growth.
You will be the first hire on the team, working closely with another engineer and the company’s founders to shape the product roadmap and bring it to life. This is a rare opportunity to be hands-on while also influencing the leadership and structure of the team as it grows. You will have high visibility, make a direct impact on a core business product, and have a clear path to advance into a team lead role. Your Mission
Design and implement ML models to predict user behavior and optimize real-time decisions
Deploy scalable, production-grade ML systems in a SaaS environment
Establish the foundation for a growing AI capability across the company
What You Will Bring
5+ years of experience in data science or ML engineering with strong Python expertise
Proven track record in developing and deploying ML models into production
Deep knowledge of experimentation methods such as A/B testing, causal inference, and reinforcement learning
Experience working in fast-paced, product-led environments
A proactive, ownership-driven mindset suited to greenfield challenges
Salary and Benefits
Competitive base salary up to 110,000 euro Base, pension, health insurance, and stock options
