About Your New Job - Sales Manager
* As the Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full commercial sales process — from initial client engagement through to proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
* You’ll lead consultations with commercial and public-sector clients, managing everything from pricing and technical scope to financial modeling and formal bid submissions.
* You’ll also build and manage key relationships with decision-makers, technical consultants, and industry stakeholders.
* In this role, you’ll collaborate with engineers and designers to tailor solar PV system layouts and proposals, ensuring that solutions are both technically sound and financially compelling.
* You’ll contribute to public and private-sector tenders, support grant and incentive applications, and represent the company at key trade events.

What Skills You Need for this Sales Manager job
* To succeed in this role, you’ll need a degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field, alongside a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in technical sales or business development — ideally in the solar PV or renewable energy sector.
* You should have a strong understanding of solar system design, including modules, inverters, mounting systems, and grid connection requirements.
* You must be confident leading complex sales cycles end to end, including tendering, contract negotiation, and working closely with legal, procurement, and operational teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, a full clean driving license, and the ability to manage multiple projects across Ireland are all essential. Proficiency in tools like PVSol, PVSyst, or Helioscope would be a plus.
