Clancy Construction is currently seeking an experienced Banksman to join our site team in Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a live construction site, supporting day-to-day operations and contributing to the successful delivery of projects in line with Clancy's high standards of quality, safety and professionalism. Location This is a Site based role in the Cork area. Reporting to The Site Manager. Key Responsibilities will include: Guide crane and plant operations using walkie talkies with the ability to use standard hand signals to communicate effectively Tying off loads securely and diligently Good eye sight, spatial awareness and attention to detail Ensure pedestrian and Colleague safety at all times Maintain clear communication with drivers, machine operators and site management and project workers Monitor site access/egress points and control traffic flow Assist with general site safety duties as required Qualifications/Experience: Previous Banksman experience is essential. Team player with ability to build effective relationships at all levels. Strong attention to detail and safety awareness. Good verbal communication skills.
