Kixo is a new social platform that helps people find local activities, join real games and events, and meet people in real life – starting with yoga, 5-a-side football, boardgames, and social events.
We're building the easiest way for people to:
* Discover what's happening nearby,
* Join a game or event that fits their schedule,
* Or host their own activity and fill the last few spots.
We're in early launch phase in Ireland and are now looking for a small group of high-energy, ambitious students to help us grow on campus.
About the Role
As a Campus Growth & Marketing Intern, you'll be responsible for making Kixo "a thing" on your campus.
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role where you'll:
* Help shape how we launch and grow in universities,
* Run on-the-ground marketing experiments,
* Work directly with the founding team,
* And get real, practical experience in growth, product feedback and community building.
What You'll Do
Grow Kixo on your campus
* Launch and grow Kixo within your university or local area.
* Recruit and support hosts (students who run 5-a-side games, bootcamps, social events, etc.).
* Drive sign-ups and repeat usage among students.
Marketing & Awareness
* Plan and run on-campus campaigns (flyers, posters, QR codes, societies, sports clubs).
* Use your knowledge of campus life to get Kixo in front of the right people at the right time.
* Create simple content for student channels (WhatsApp groups, Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
* Help organise and promote small launch events, taster sessions, or "first game free" campaigns.
Community & Operations
* Be the local point of contact for early Kixo users and hosts.
* Collect structured feedback on what's working / not working and share it with the team.
* Help us refine playbooks for:
* onboarding new hosts,
* promoting activities,
* and retaining users on campus.
Data & Reporting
* Track basic growth metrics for your campus (sign-ups, events, repeat users).
* Summarise weekly what you tried, what worked, and what you'd do next.
* Help us design a simple playbook other campuses can copy.
What You'll Learn
* How to launch and grow a marketplace-style product from the ground up.
* Practical, CV-ready experience in:
* student marketing,
* growth experiments,
* community building,
* and basic analytics.
* How to work closely with a founding team and influence real product and go-to-market decisions.
* How to turn ideas into concrete plans, and plans into measurable results.
We're happy to support academic credit if your university offers credit-bearing internships or projects.
Ideal Profile
We're looking for bright, self-starter students who:
* Are currently studying Marketing, Business, Digital Media or a related field (or can demonstrate strong interest).
* Are deeply plugged into campus life – you understand how students hear about things and what actually gets attention.
* Communicate clearly and professionally in English.
* Are comfortable speaking to new people, building relationships and pitching an idea.
* Are organised, reliable, and able to work independently with light-touch guidance.
* Enjoy testing ideas, looking at basic numbers, and iterating quickly.
* Bonus: You play or enjoy sports / fitness / social events yourself.
Time Commitment & Structure
* Hours: Approx. 8–12 hours per week, flexible around lectures and exams.
* Duration: 3 months, with potential to extend or transition into a paid role based on performance and funding.
* Weekly check-ins with the founders (remote).
* Clear goals and metrics agreed at the start (e.g. sign-ups, active users, events run).

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: €14.15 per hour
