We are one of Ireland's largest Sheet Metal Fabrication Companies operating a full service, contract manufacturing service supplying Ireland’s leading OEM’s in the Materials Handling, Agricultural machinery and M&E sectors.
With a team of over 150 members, operating our of three factory units, we are delighted to be building our team. We are seeking a self-driven Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. You will be involved in both our V-Mac silo product line and large fabrications department, taking projects from pricing through to fully fabricated, painted, and assembled products. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role, offering the chance to work directly with OEM clients and some of the most advanced machinery in the country.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
Create manufacturing‑ready designs and drawings using SolidWorks/CAD (2D & 3D).
Apply knowledge of engineering principles, weld details, and fabrication standards.
Support senior engineers and managers with technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
Manufacturing Process
Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) through our Epicor MRP/ERP systems to streamline production.
Apply lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Work with fabricators, machinists, and assembly teams to ensure quality, manufacturability, and on‑time delivery.
Contribute to SOP creation, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Customer & OEM Interaction
Liaise with customers’ engineers to clarify requirements and provide practical manufacturing solutions.
Help streamline production to deliver fully fabricated, painted, and assembled products to OEM standards.
Commercial Support
Support project costing for silos and fabrications, supplying feedback to the pricing department, with a focus on target vs. actual times.
About You
Degree or strong experience in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering.
2–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
Skilled in SolidWorks and CAD 2D & 3D.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, welding practices, tolerances, and lean principles.
Capable of managing multiple projects and delivering under pressure.
A genuine interest in engineering and mechanical systems, with the initiative to work independently and drive improvements.

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
