We are currently seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team in County Cork. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our supply chain network.
About the Role:
1. Analyzing and optimizing the Supply Chain.
2. Material planning and procurement.
3. Liaising with suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
4. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services.
5. Managing inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a purchasing role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* A recognized qualification in a related discipline such as engineering, logistics, or supply chain management.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications.
* Experience of working with ERP systems would be an advantage.
