As a member of the Analytics team within Trading Performance and Analytics, you will get the opportunity to use data & insights to fuel Sky Ireland's success by unearthing what consumers do and love. We look to exploit our data to influence Sky strategies and support key decision makers in Sky Ireland.What You Will DoOwn the analytics roadmap for Sky Ireland and NOW, including delivery of ongoing activities and actively managing priorities for new demand.Maintain and develop processes for measurement and targeting to guide and optimise commercial activities.Lead the direction of content analytics and reporting for the Irish business and to understand the relationship between our content and business performance.Lead and deliver data science projects including insights deep-dives, predictive models, segmentations and ad-hoc analyses that explore and identify opportunities for the business.Provide strong support for a wide variety of stakeholders, ensuring all business areas can get the data they need to make key decisions.Become a champion for self-serve and automation analytics across the business by productionising deliverables.Lead and coach the analytics team by setting goals, mentoring and career developmentDrive analytics best practices in data science, coding standards and tooling.Be challenged to think commercially, and to partner with our business stakeholders to maximise the impact and value of our analyses.Develop strong relationships with the team's stakeholders and be a key part of how the wider Sky team delivers on its goals and targets.What You Will BringSignificant experience in an analytics role where you used advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modelling, segmentation, analytics deep-dives, etc.A proven ability to effectively manage competing demand from a variety of stakeholdersA real passion to unlock the insights & stories in our data, and work with our stakeholders to see those insights help us deliver on business prioritiesA self-starter, who enjoys the energy of a fast-paced environment and who has strong multi-tasking abilities and resilienceStrong knowledge of SQL and PythonSomeone with curiosity about our customers, our data and how we could do things differently and betterMasters level education preferred, graduate in mathematics, computer science, physical sciences or other quantitative disciplineWhat Is 'great To Have'Experience managing a team, particularly an analytics teamExamples of leading / driving analytics projects that lead to a measurable benefitExamples of being part of, or influencing Strategic projects or decisionsExperience of using Tableau to visualise data and create intuitive dashboardsKnowledge of Google Cloud PlatformThe Rewards:There's one thing people can't stop talking about when it comes to : the perks.
