FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of 'Office Administrator' on behalf of our client and based in the East Galway region. Indeed, this is permanent position flexible to offer part time OR full-time hours.

Please note, for this role you will be required to work Saturdays also.

Location: North East Galway (may also suit candidates in Roscommon, South Mayo)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented **Office Administrator** to join our client's team in East Galway. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's office and supporting various administrative and operational functions.

Key Responsibilities

Phone Answering and Communication:

- Professionally handle incoming calls, take messages, and relay information to the appropriate team members.

- Act as the first point of contact for clients, suppliers, and visitors, providing excellent customer service.

Office/Accounts Administration:

- Address and resolve day-to-day operational issues as they arise.

- Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing administrative tasks and supporting team members as needed.

- Process invoices and ensure timely payment tracking.

- Handle copying and filing of dockets and other financial documents.

Online Sales Order Processing:

- Manage online sales orders from receipt to dispatch.

- Prepare and print necessary paperwork, including dispatch dockets.

- Coordinate with couriers for timely collection and delivery of orders.

Experience

- Previous experience in an office administration or similar role is preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional phone manner.

- Strong ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively

- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling data, invoices, and product information.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Resourceful and proactive in resolving day-to-day issues.
