Healthy Ageing Researcher
The role of the researcher is to coordinate and implement a multidisciplinary programme of research on healthy ageing amongst university staff and community-dwelling older adults.
The programme aims to deliver and evaluate a health intervention that optimises critical pillars of healthy ageing including functional movement, physical activity, motor and cognitive skill acquisition/maintenance, lifestyle management, social connectedness, and digital competencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee administrative tasks associated with the design, implementation and evaluation of the research programme.
* Lead and coordinate research activities associated with the programme.
* Disseminate the outcomes of the research through academic publications.
* Take a leading role in the strategic development of the research programme.
Requirements:
* PhD in a relevant field.
* Experience in coordinating research projects.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
