Job Description:
The post holder is professionally accountable to the Director of Nursing, MUH. Key responsibilities include implementing the hospital's strategic vision, ensuring alignment with healthcare objectives.
Leadership skills are essential in leading service planning and resource allocation for assigned departments, promoting efficient care delivery and cost-effectiveness.
A key focus area is analysing patient flow and capacity metrics, developing and monitoring action plans to optimise throughput and reduce delays.
The successful candidate will act as consultant for nursing and para-nursing staff on policy interpretation, standards of practice, and professional conduct.
Key responsibilities also include developing, reviewing, and implementing nursing policies, protocols, and clinical guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.
The role involves providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management support to nursing staff within assigned areas.
Promoting a culture of patient engagement, dignity, and respect in all nursing interactions is crucial.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring patient satisfaction metrics specific to nursing care and co-designing action plans with frontline teams to address feedback.
