Legal Advisor | 11-Month Contract | €75,000 p.a. | Cork | Hybrid | Occasional Travel Required Your new company Our client is a leading public sector organisation with offices in Cork, Dublin, and Galway.
They are a regulatory body responsible for developing and inspecting standards within the healthcare sector.
They are now looking for a Legal Advisor to join their team on an 11-month contract basis.
Occasional travel required, with an on-site presence of approximately two days per week as a general guideline.
Your new role You will provide legal advice and representation across a wide range of areas including administrative and regulatory law, statutory interpretation, data protection, employment law, and litigation management.
The role involves legal research, drafting, advising on policy documents, and occasionally attending court.
You will work closely with the Head of Legal and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver pragmatic solutions.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor or barrister in Ireland with at least 3 years' post-qualification experience.
You will have a strong background in administrative/public/regulatory law.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
Full driving licence and access to own transport (travel nationwide may be required).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal case management systems is an advantage.
