Tech Lead Our client in the e-commerce space is on the lookout for a candidate who will lead front-end engineering efforts, shape architecture, mentor developers, and ensure scalable, high-performance user experiences. This role influences major customer-facing journeys and involves cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Hybrid working in Dublin Responsibilities: Lead and support front-end engineers, promoting best practices and strong teamwork. Design and deliver scalable, high performing front-end solutions. Mentor developers, review code, and drive continuous improvement. Optimise performance and ensure systems can handle high traffic. Introduce modern tools and approaches to strengthen engineering quality. Improve development workflows, automation, and agile processes. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams on end-to-end solutions. Required Experience: 8+ years in software development, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role. Strong expertise in (2/3) and Tailwind CSS. Solid experience with APIs, backend integrations, and relational databases. Skilled with containers, orchestration tools, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with automated testing (e.g., Cypress). Ability to balance coding with architectural oversight. Strong understanding of front-end design patterns and clean engineering practices.
