Flannerys Hotel, 134 Bedroom Hotel are recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist to join our professional customer focused front office team. The main purpose of this role is to assist with the smooth operational running of the Front Office team ensuring all standards are adhered to and ensuring the highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction, while ensuring maximum revenue is reached at all times.
Main Responsibilities Are:
* Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm, friendly and courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay rom all department personnel.
* To liaise with reservations regarding future bookings, regular business clients and revenue pick up or loss
* To make the necessary preparations to deal with the arrival of customers with advance bookings and ensure the check in procedures are completed correctly
* To correctly process all front office cash/credit card transactions, float and till procedures and to ensure that procedures are carried out in accordance with Company policy
* To be aware of all products and services and be informative
* Ensure guests needs and wants are delivered
* All ensure all complaints are to be dealt with immediately. Ensure all complaints are logged with the Duty Manager no matter how minor they are
* To ensure that products and services are explained to guests at appropriate times and to take opportunities to promote products
* To ensure that all reservation enquiries are handled in professional manner
* To operate the switchboard, receive incoming calls, transfer internal and external calls, be familiar with department extension numbers
* To ensure that both incoming and outgoing calls are handled in a professional manner
* To monitor and answer emails/messages from guests while on shift
Skills:
Excellent Customer Service
Strong acumen with a good eye for detail
Previous Hotel Reception experience an advantage
* Previous experience using Hotsoft or Opera PMS an advantage
Salary Based On Previous Experience
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
