Job Title: Assistant Kitchen Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis Chef to join our team as an Assistant Kitchen Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard and that health and safety protocols are followed.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in professional cookery and be familiar with kitchen operations and procedures. They will be required to work closely with the Head Chef to prepare menus, manage stock levels, and ensure that all kitchen tasks are completed efficiently.
The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time, 39 hours per week, and will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef during service. They will also be required to help with kitchen health and hygiene procedures, cooking food to order, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
