Instrumentation Technician An excellent opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join a growing electrical and mechanical services provider. This field-based role offers a mix of instrumentation maintenance, calibration, and small installations in the water and wastewater sectors. The Role As Instrumentation Technician Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, calibrating, installing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment on water and wastewater treatment plants. Based primarily in the Meath area, occasional travel to other regions may be required. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out instrumentation service, calibration, commissioning, and maintenance. Troubleshooting equipment such as flow meters, level sensors, analysers, inverters, and controllers. Installing and wiring control panels, pumps, and other site electrical components. Reporting service findings and recommendations to both internal teams and clients. Performing general admin tasks including report writing and record keeping. Ensuring a high standard of customer service and technical support. The Person You are a qualified and capable Instrumentation Technician or Electrician with strong practical skills and problem-solving ability. You are comfortable working independently or as part of a team in the field. You will bring: 2-3 years of hands-on instrumentation experience. Knowledge of electrical systems including panels, wiring, and troubleshooting. A proactive approach with strong communication skills. A full, clean driving licence. Familiarity with the water/wastewater process (desirable). A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. The Package: Salary: €50-55k (up to €60k depending on experience). Company Vehicle/Van with a Fuel Card. 25 Days Holiday per annum. Laptop and Phone provided. Lunch Allowance of €14 per day.
