Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 2 within UCD School of Medicine In this project, the successful candidate will be involved in data cleaning, analysis and interpretation of results from multiple large data sets of people with a first episode of psychosis. There are three broad aims to the initial phase: (i) determining the response rates to different antipsychotic medications for the initial and subsequent trials and predictors of response; (ii) rates of discontinuation of antipsychotic medications and associated outcomes and (iii) prevalence of potential and actional drug-gene interactions. This dataset is from Australia and contains information on over 1200 people with a first episode of psychosis, one of the largest clinical datasets in the world. There will also be an Irish data set which will be used for comparison. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be involved in sourcing additional data sets that address the similar questions in more recent datasets and conducting analysis on these. Salary Range: €54,307 - €59,063 Per Annum Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
