We're currently recruiting for a Production Manager to lead high-volume assembly and packaging operations within a regulated manufacturing environment in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader with a strong background in manufacturing excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
You'll play a key role in driving performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People (SQDCP), while managing and developing cross-functional teams across production, engineering, and quality.
The Role:
As Production Manager, you will:
1. Lead Shift Managers and production teams to deliver daily performance targets (SQDCP)
2. Build and champion a Safety-First culture across the site
3. Ensure full compliance with quality, regulatory, and environmental standards
4. Optimise resource planning to ensure smooth, efficient manufacturing flow
5. Monitor and manage stock levels of WIP and finished goods
6. Take a lead role in internal and external audits
7. Support and drive a continuous improvement agenda, in partnership with CI and automation teams
8. Coach, mentor, and develop your team through regular reviews, training plans, and project ownership
9. Lead the weekly BOS (Business Operating System) meetings to support productivity and OEE targets
10. Support site-wide improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects
What We're Looking For:
11. A third-level qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Science
12. 5+ years' experience in a production management or supervisory role in a high-volume manufacturing environment
13. Experience working in a regulated industry (medical devices, pharma, or similar)
14. Proven knowledge of production principles, manufacturing operations, and compliance standards
15. Strong people management and team development skills
16. Proactive mindset with a hands-on approach to problem solving
17. Comfortable working cross-functionally across Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain
18. Strong documentation and IT skills; knowledge of budgetary control is a plus
