A Polymer / Plastics Process Engineer is required by CareerWise Recruitment to join our based Cork based MN medical device manufacturing client.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team you have responsibility for new product and process development.
Permanent role.
ROLE * Work with a multidisciplinary team to support new product and process introductions with a focus on Plastics * Select components and equipment * Develop plastic component specific testing and inspection protocols * Complete capital acquisition activity from specifying equipment right through to validation * Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation * Experience in developing processes for manufacturing plastic components * Experience of Design for Manufacturing, capability studies, verification and validation REQUIREMENTS * Must have a minimum of a Degree (level 8) in a suitable subject e.g. Engineering, Polymers * An infectious enthusiasm for problem solving * 3-5 years industry experience within plastics processing.
