A top -tier international M&A and strategy advisory platform is seeking a Director to join its Energy Transition team, delivering high -profile renewable energy transactions across Ireland and the UK. The team provides end -to -end support throughout the deal lifecycle, combining sector expertise with execution excellence to help clients unlock value in one of the most dynamic growth markets.
The role:
* Originate opportunities and lead business development in the renewable energy sector.
* Lead the execution of M&A transactions on both the buy and sell side, including deal structuring and negotiations.
* Advise clients on M&A strategy and transaction planning, including preparation of assets for sale and coordination of other advisers.
* Apply deep sector knowledge to assess financial model assumptions and oversee complex modelling.
* Manage client relationships and ensure successful delivery across all stages of the deal lifecycle.
Requirements:
o Professionally qualified with significant post -qualification experience.
o Strong knowledge of the renewable energy sector, with proven M&A experience in Ireland.
o Track record of leading transactions on both the buy and sell side, including structuring, financing and negotiating agreements.
o Skilled in complex financial modelling and comfortable reviewing and challenging model assumptions.
o Demonstrated business development ability with experience identifying and originating new opportunities.
o Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple advisers and lead teams.
o Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues, with a collaborative and professional approach.
