Job Title: Project Management Specialist
A successful project manager is required to oversee the construction of a land development project in Co. Cork. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The role involves coordinating with various stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers and site officials to ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines, conducting regular site inspections and resolving any issues that may arise during construction.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management and experience working on similar projects. They will also possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask, prioritize and problem-solve effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and other site officials to ensure smooth project execution.
* Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
* Conduct regular site inspections in coordination with safety officers and other relevant bodies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
* Communicate regularly with project team members to provide updates on project progress.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
* Strong knowledge of civils engineering principles and practices.
* Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
* Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize and problem-solve effectively.
