INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:Job Title – Building Envelope/Facade ManagerProject – Commercial Project – High ValueJob Location – GalwaySalary – €65,000 - €75,000 + packageAbout the CompanyLeading Main Contractor with a Turnover of over €100M who work on interesting commercial and residential projects in the West of Ireland.This project is a new build commercial development starting in Galway with plenty of future work in the area and room to progress within the company.The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and motivate staff while supporting the Project Manager to ensure the project is completed to a high standard, on time and in budget.Building Envelope/Façade ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure that H&S is top priority throughout the design development and installation processManagement of the design development process and coordination between the various building envelope sub contractorsManagement of the technical submittal process through formal approval with the design teamManagement of the sample approval process thorough formal approval with the design teamWork within the confines of the agreed design and procurement schedules for the projectManage the logistics of the envelope/façade install with the JJR site team and sub contractorsAgree installation check sheets with sub contractors and ensure they are complied with thereafterCarry out installation checks and raise any necessary non-conformance observations and quality when requiredWitness all onsite and off site testing as requiredHold regular progress meetings with sub-contractorsEnsure the Operations and Maintenance Manual for the envelope/façade works is developed throughout the project and available for handover of the projectEnsure that all certification from sub contractors is gathered in a timely fashionWork closely with JJR’s commercial team on commercial matters including monthly valuations, variations, value engineering etc.Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure delivery of the building envelope/façade in accordance with the master programmeTrack sub contractors progress against their installation programmes and highlight any issues in a timely mannerHighlight any risks/opportunities in a timely mannerMinimum Qualifications5+ years experience in a similar roleConstruction related DegreeStrong work ethic with an ability to “get the job done”Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skillsGood understanding of Irish Building Regulations and H&S StandardsFor any additional information on the role, please contact David Bridges at Inform3 Recruitment.INFORM3 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
