Our client is a multinational financial services firm company with offices based in Dublin. They have a requirement for a Senior Financial Accountant. This position is responsible for financial and regulatory reporting within a well-established finance team. The role also involves managing relationships with external auditors and internal finance counterparts, ensuring compliance with new reporting standards, and leading financial development projects.Main Responsibilities:Worked within a highly regulated financial reporting environment, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Manage work assignments independently, from planning through execution, including proactively identifying and resolving issues.Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, maintaining accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.Assist with external audits, including responding to auditor queries, gathering supporting documentation, and reviewing financial disclosures.Participate in regulatory reporting processes, including data input, review, and quality checks of financial templates and reports.Deliver timely responses to internal audit requests, ensuring clarity and completeness of provided information.Collaborate across global teams, maintaining effective relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including service providers, financial institutions, and regulators.Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)3+ years experience within an Irish financial services environment (audit or another FS firm)Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesPackage:Base salary in the region of €70-80kExcellent bonus structurePensionHealth/DentalHybrid working (2 days in the office)Long list of other bens including professional subsFor more information please contact Simon Morris in Morgan McKinley on or LinkedIn DM
