Job Description
Western Alzheimers is recruiting Dementia Trainee Healthcare Assistants throughout Boyle and surrounding areas to join their Community Employment project. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get back to work, up‑skill and gain further experience in a person‑centered healthcare setting. QQI certified Healthcare training will be provided.
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Responsibilities
Caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease/dementia.
Providing supportive care at clients’ homes.
Assisting with personal care.
Social engagement activities.
Meal preparation.
Flexible availability required. Candidates who live in Boyle and those with a full driving licence may apply. The role offers 19.5 hours per week with flexible days/times.
