We are working with Ireland's national sustainable energy authority on their search for Marketing and Communications – Programme Executive to join their team in Dublin 2.
The successful candidate will join the Digital Marketing Team that sits within the Marketing and Communications Department. The Marketing team provides responsive, creative, and effective communications across all online channels to help the organisation reach their business objectives.
This position will play a key role in the Communications Department. As Marketing and Communications Programme Executive, you will be responsible for developing, planning, executing, and managing marketing and communications activities, to help achieve business objectives.
This role is intitially offered on a 18-month fixed term contract.

Responsbilities
8. Provide expert marketing and communications advice and services to assigned management and teams.
9. Implementing a strategic plan of communications promoting the organisation's role, objectives, and bring the organisations achievements to life.
10. Supporting press office function, including proactive media relations, responding to press queries and supporting spokesperson training
11. Co-ordinating the content origination and publication of significant reports.
12. Providing marketing and communications support on flagship activities such as The Energy Show and Energy Awards.
13. Work with procurement team to appoint marketing and communications agencies to support the activities of the Communications team.
14. Define metrics for programmes and monitor, review and adjust ongoing marketing programmes.
15. Conduct target audience research, gathering insights to inform communications strategies and tactics.
16. Managing the Authority's brand assets and portfolio to ensure their full and proper use.
17. Work in close collaboration with the wider Communications team to maximise communications and content effectiveness.
The functions and responsibilities assigned to this role are based on the current requirements stated above and may be changed from time to time. The candidate appointed to this role requires flexibility to fulfil other responsibilities across the Communications Department.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
18. A degree (a minimum of NFQ Level 7 or greater) in Marketing, Business, or other relevant discipline.
19. Minimum three years' directly relevant experience working in a comparable marketing and/or communications function.
20. Highly competent in all aspects of the full marketing communications mix.
21. Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team, building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
22. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to represent the organisation in a public forum.
23. Well-developed IT skills.
Desirable Criteria
24. Proficient in written / spoken Irish language.
25. Knowledge / experience of working in the public sector
26. General knowledge of sustainable energy and the renewable energy sector.
