As an Electrical Engineering Shift Technician working with the LotusWorks team, you will join our client site in the Biologics sector. This job is based in a cutting-edge facility in Dundalk, Co. Louth
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the operation of the utility systems, conducting rounds and readings to ensure and report on operational performance, supervise contractor works approving permits to work, responding to alarms and manufacturing or maintenance requests, carrying out PM, PDM and CM activities
Responsibilities
* Monitoring and operation of all wet, dry, clean and electrical utility systems.
* Conducting rounds and readings to ensure utility equipment is operating within required parameters.
* Monitoring the various control systems to ensure stable operations and the reporting of any anomalies or events.
* Responding to alarms or erroneous process values and reporting on the same.
* Facilitating subcontractors carrying out work on site, reviewing safety documentation and approving permit to work.
* Partaking in GEMBA walks and housekeeping audits issuing and assuming responsibility for items to be addressed.
* Carrying out predictive, corrective and preventative maintenance tasks as assigned on the CMMS.
* Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.
Skills Required
* Skilled in electrical/instrumentation disciplines.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Experience in electrical systems (medium and low voltage).
* You should be willing to work as part of a multi discipline team with a degree of cross skilling.
* Make appropriate vendor support call-ins as required to support the business requirements.
* Literacy in Computer Operating Systems and applications such as Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, etc.
Education / Licenses / Certifications
* The successful candidate will have time served Electrical trades experience or Degree in Electrical Engineering
