DescriptionA leading European data centre delivery partner is seeking an experiencedSenior Electrical Engineerto support a major hyperscale data centre project. The organisation specialises in full turnkey solutions—from design through construction and commissioning—and is rapidly expanding across Europe.This role is pivotal in overseeing electrical design, installation, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesManage, review, and coordinate electrical design and construction drawings; resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions.Provide expert technical guidance to subcontractors and site teams across all electrical engineering activities.Lead and prioritise tasks for the project's technical team to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and Health & Safety requirements.Identify and resolve engineering issues using structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis techniques.Oversee document control processes, ensuring all technical records, logs, and documentation are accurately maintained.Prepare and coordinate test packs and handover documentation in line with commissioning and client standards.Promote strong compliance and governance by:Conducting regular site inspections and addressing safety concerns.Recommending and implementing process improvements.Ensuring high standards of site organisation and housekeeping.Skills & QualificationsRelevant electrical qualification (e.g., degree in engineering).5+ years' experience in a similar role within a mechanical & electrical contracting environment.Strong knowledge of HSE requirements on large-scale construction projects.Data centre project experience is an advantage.Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills.Proficient with MS Office and document control software.BenefitsOpportunity to work with a market-leading team delivering major data centre projects across Europe.Competitive salary package.Collaborative working environment.Strong career development support.
