Job Description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Person in Charge (PIC) on behalf of our client based in Dublin. This is a 3-month fixed-term contract with a strong focus on supporting the service to achieve and maintain HIQA compliance.
The Role:
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day governance and management of the service, ensuring high standards of care and full compliance with HIQA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the service in preparation for and achievement of HIQA compliance
2. Ensure policies, procedures, and practices align with HIQA standards
3. Provide effective leadership and oversight of staff and service delivery
4. Monitor quality, risk, and safeguarding within the service
5. Act as the main point of contact with HIQA and other relevant stakeholders
Requirements:
6. A recognised Social Care qualification (minimum Level 7/8 preferred)
7. Experience working in a regulated social care setting
8. Previous experience as a Person in Charge or in a senior management role (highly desirable)
9. Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
10. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills

11. Duration: 3 months
12. Rate: €27.50 per hour
