Job Description
As an Electrician / Atex Inspector, you will play a pivotal role in our site electrical team. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to install, inspect, examine, report, advise and maintain new and existing electrical apparatus in hazardous environments. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical assessments, preparing reports, carrying out remedial works and coordinating with stakeholders and installation of new electrical equipment.
Your Responsibilities will include:
* Ensure that all equipment is properly inspected and maintained in line with Company standards, statutory requirements, and industry best practice.
* Day to day electrical installations on site.
* Complete reviews, approvals, and close-out of Electrical technical documentation in line with site standard approval process.
* Participate in Site Electrical Safety and Atex programs.
* Keep up to date on industry best practices specifically within the electrical area.
* Provide support with remedial works, audit / inspection requirements to ensure department compliance / readiness. Participate in internal and external audits / inspections where required.
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in Hazardous Area industries preferable.
* Electrical / Instrumentation Trade Background
* CompEx Qualification with a strong ATEX knowledge. (or previously certified in similar)
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.
