The successful candidate will work closely with a multi-disciplinary engineering team overseeing the full automation and IT scope, as well as with third-party vendors responsible for system delivery.Role OverviewThis position will involve hands-on support of a Siemens Desigo BMS platform, in addition to supporting automation projects and small-scale site changes. The BMS Engineer will play a key role in design, coding, testing, qualification activities, and daily operational support—including participation in a rotating on-call schedule.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintenance of the Siemens Desigo BMS system.Deliver automation project support: coding, design, testing, IOQ activities.Implement and qualify proactive site changes and small-scale BMS projects.Participate in daily support tasks and monthly reporting on support activities.Engage in FATs, SATs, and design reviews.Collaborate on development of project schedules and documentation trackers.Work directly with stakeholders to resolve design or technical issues.Assist with data mapping and ensure end-to-end system data integration.Contribute to key project lifecycle documentation:Requirements SpecificationsFunctional & Design SpecificationsCode ReviewsTest Plans & ScriptsTraceability MatricesRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years of BMS experience, ideally within a GMP or pharmaceutical environment.Proven experience with Siemens Desigo CC is essential.Strong understanding of automation project lifecycles and qualification processes.Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-impact engineering team working on critical systems within a regulated biomanufacturing environment.
