We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Duty Manager to join our team in Cork. As a key member of our management staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all hotel departments during their shift.
* Key Responsibilities:
* To undertake and carry out effectively all duty management duties to the required standard
* To have a visible presence within the hotel and ensure the smooth running of all departments while on duty
* To manage allocated functions/weddings/events in the hotel
* To resolve guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times while maintaining the hotel's reputation
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
* People Management & Leadership Skills
* Ability to Plan & Organise
* Attention to Detail
* Working knowledge of Hotel based reservations system Opera & POS (micros) an advantage
* Strong Communication Skills
* Passion for Customer Service
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Max 2/3 years previous experience in a Hotel Duty Management Role
* Hospitality/Travel & Tourism Management Qualification
* Office Administration & Computer Skills
* Knowledge & Experience of Micros
* Knowledge & Experience in Opera (Hotel Reservations System)
