Job Purpose: To manage the day-to-day operations of the department, delivering a store experience that exceeds customer expectations. This involves supporting the activities of the line manager, combining expertise, creativity, and a commitment to sustainability to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
* To achieve profitable sales and consistent results by executing store-specific plans and contributing to team meetings to drive business forward.
* To organize store-specific promotions, execute setup, and support the development of categories & key lines.
* To maintain accurate inventory and books, ensuring stock loss is within budget, and minimize stock and margin loss through sales floor sales process.
* To provide great customer service by consistently achieving service targets, dealing with all customer queries efficiently, and resolving common customer complaints.
* To be a brand ambassador, using own experience and skill set to guide and help other team members, and engage and network with other stores to share ideas and help support growth.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
* Previous relevant retail sales experience.
* Extensive plant knowledge.
* Understanding of sustainability and trends.
* Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Great customer service focus.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Computer skills with advanced levels in Microsoft and core systems or similar IT programs.
* Superior product knowledge.
* Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
