Title: Head of Marketing (B2B SaaS)
Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid 3 days onsite required)

Summary: Our Life Science Software client is looking for an experienced marketing professional to become their next Head of Marketing. The company has grown from a small start‑up and is seeking someone with similar experience in smaller companies that are growing. This role will play an intrinsic part in the development of the company’s growth trajectories while leading its dynamic and fast‑paced teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with experience working in a start‑up or SME environment, capable of shaping the business with a hands‑on approach.
Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for the marketing function, including strategy, execution, team structure, and performance.
* Assess current capabilities and define a clear plan for growth and impact.
* Communicate needs and priorities to the wider business to enable success.
* Drive output across key marketing channels: webinars, content creation, customer marketing, events, and digital campaigns.
* Build and evolve reporting frameworks to demonstrate marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue.
* Own the department’s initial KPI of MQL generation, working closely with SDRs to ensure lead quality and conversion.
* Play a key role in creating a shared plan of success across the business.
* Lead and mentor the existing team, with full remit to hire and expand based on business needs.
* Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Partner closely with SDR, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, and senior leadership to align marketing with commercial goals.
* Support go‑to‑market initiatives and product launches with integrated marketing campaigns.
Requirements
* 5‑7 years of experience in B2B marketing, SaaS and/or life sciences preferable.
* 2‑3 years of leadership or team management experience.
* Strong track record of delivering measurable marketing outcomes.
* Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.
* Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
* Data‑driven mindset with experience building and evolving reporting structures.
* Appetite for testing, learning, and scaling what works.
