Reporting into the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will work in a production facility, using the most advanced, energy‑efficient technology, creating a range of exceptional products.
This role will play a key part in maintaining plant reliability, managing contractors, and guiding engineers and technicians across a busy maintenance environment.

Role
Lead maintenance activity across a defined plant area
Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance plans
Direct contractors and guide junior engineers and technicians
Plan shutdowns and major overhauls
Troubleshoot failures and improve equipment reliability
Support and deliver large‑scale plant improvement projects
Maintain and improve safety and environmental standards
Requirements
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Min 5 years experience in mechanical engineering within Ireland
Strong background in heavy industry, utilities, cement, quarry, mining, or large‑scale manufacturing
Proven experience leading people, contractors, or engineering teams
Solid understanding of reactive and preventative maintenance
Ability to plan downtimes, manage resources, and deliver projects
Confident communicator who can influence and guide others
Full right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship offered)
Residing within a commutable distance of the site
Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week
