About the Role:
The EV Charging Support and Maintenance Coordinator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational performance of our charging network. You will be the central point of contact for coordinating maintenance activities, resolving technical support requests, and ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for support escalations and maintenance scheduling.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance with field teams and service providers to optimize charger uptime.
- Monitor EV charger performance using backend systems and initiate service tasks as needed to minimize downtime.
- Log and manage support tickets via helpdesk/maintenance management software, maintaining accurate records of service interactions.
- Communicate updates to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders effectively, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Collaborate closely with technical support and engineering teams to resolve complex issues, leveraging collective expertise to drive innovative solutions.
- Generate regular reports on service performance metrics, including downtime and KPIs, to inform data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and SLAs, upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in technical coordination, maintenance planning, or field service support, preferably in sectors such as EV charging, telecom, energy, or facilities management.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with helpdesk or ticketing platforms, such as Freshdesk or Zoho Desk, and a willingness to adapt to new tools and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, Operations Management, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in relevant disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with EV charging systems or similar infrastructure, such as HVAC, UPS, or solar, showcasing practical knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of OCPP, IoT platforms, or charger management software, highlighting proficiency in industry-standard technologies.
- Understanding of basic electrical systems and site commissioning, with a strong foundation in underlying principles and practices.
