Lead a Shift with Excellence
As a seasoned Senior Kitchen Supervisor, you will oversee the seamless operation of a shift on a daily basis, delivering exceptional service on behalf of the Sous Chef. Key responsibilities include:
* Executing all items with precision, adhering to recipe cards and procedures, ensuring correct quantities and high-quality standards;
* Fostering a supportive environment for senior staff, promoting the goals and ideals of the operation, continually striving to meet customer expectations;
* Maintaining stringent hygiene and sanitation standards;
* Optimizing resource allocation, minimizing wastage, and meeting budgetary expectations;
* Allocating tasks to junior staff members;
* In the absence of the Sous Chef, ensuring timely and quality service according to established specifications and customer expectations;
* Completing any other tasks reasonably assigned by the Sous Chef;
* Supervising ongoing, daily, and periodic cleaning activities, maintaining the highest standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum three years' experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong knowledge of Asian Food culture. Additional requirements include:
* Excellent cooking skills;
* Effective communication skills to convey clear and concise messages to staff at all levels;
* Superior planning, organizational, and time management skills;
* Ability to work independently, utilize initiative, and prioritize tasks;
* Fluent Mandarin and excellent command of English are essential.
Candidates must also hold Food Safety & HACCP Level 3 Certification.
