Position Reporting directly to the Safety Manager Airworthiness, this role focuses on investigating engineering-related safety occurrences and supporting continuous improvement within the Safety Management System.
This rule will deputise Safety Manager Airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities Conducting formal Engineering Investigations on safety occurrences and incidents raised in the reporting system Preparing Investigation Reports and Safety Recommendations Identifying and analysing safety trends arising from reported safety occurrences Preparing periodic engineering safety reports and supporting the Safety Manager Airworthiness in risk assessments Participating in Safety Promotion, utilising lessons learnt from reports and investigations Supporting the administration of the IQSMS safety occurrences reporting system Maintaining competence through continued education and training in the area of responsibility.
The company will facilitate this process Requirements Qualifications: A relevant degree in engineering/aviation discipline or EASA Part 66 licence Aviation engineering experience in CAMO and/or P-145 environment Experience in working with reporting systems Experience and knowledge in Safety Management Systems (SMS)Strong oral and written communication skills Experience Good analytical skills Ability to work to deadlines and work independently MS Office experience Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU.
