About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified CIMA or ACCA professional
with strong industry experience or industry exposure if trained in a practice setting
who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, cost control, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and cost reports
Ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Preparation and submission of VAT returns for Ireland and UK and ensuring full compliance with tax regulations
Monitoring and analysing product and operational costs, identifying efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial compliance standards
Partnering with operational teams across multiple sites to provide financial insight and support decision-making
Assisting with audits and liaising with external advisors where required
About You
Recently qualified CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent)
Proven experience in an industry-based accounting role preferred
Strong understanding of VAT, compliance, and financial reporting requirements
Experience managing or supporting month-end processes
Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress within a growing organisation
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and sites
Full driving licence required
