We are looking for: Registered Veterinary Technician - Emergency $5000 Sign-On Bonus Schedule: Sunday, Thursday, Friday from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.
What you'll do: Record and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases, and gather additional information as necessary. Evaluate incoming patients and prioritize based on assessment. Partner with the patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication, and nursing care concerns. Provide client education, including home care instructions, medication information, and wellness updates on hospitalized patients. Assist DVMs with patient assessment, treatment, and procedures. Provide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patients. Induce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation procedures. Perform in-house laboratory testing and prepare samples for outside testing. Who you are: State Registered Veterinary Technician license required. Prior veterinary experience required; emergency experience preferred. Proficient in calculations such as drug dosages, infusions, and unit conversions. Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary. Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
