The Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Project Manager to lead the delivery of mechanical services projects from pre-construction through to handover. The successful candidate will manage programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage mechanical services projects from design coordination to final commissioning and handover
* Plan and control project programmes, budgets, and resources
* Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, safety standards, and contractual requirements
* Liaise with clients, consultants, main contractors, and design teams
* Oversee testing, commissioning, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and workmanship
* Identify risks, manage variations, and report project progress to senior management
Requirements
* Relevant Degree & background in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
* Proven experience managing mechanical services projects (HVAC, plantrooms, LPHW, chilled water, BMS, etc.)
* Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial construction environments
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and live operational sites
* Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and safety standards
* Full clean driving licence
