Offer description

Who We Are

At Golden Bake, we play as one team. Based in Coolock, Dublin 17, we're a proudly Irish-owned food manufacturer producing delicious ready-to-bake products for customers across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and beyond.

Since 1987, our team has grown to over 130 strong, operating from a 100,000 sq ft facility—including a brand new, state-of-the-art production space—with the capability to produce up to 50,000 products per hour.

Every player in our team—from production to support—has a role in delivering excellence. Our values shape how we work, how we treat each other, and how we grow together. No egos, no passengers — just one committed and united team.

For four years in a row, we're proud to be recognised as a Great Place To Work certified company — a recognition we've earned thanks to the trust, pride, and supportive culture shared across our team. It reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

What We Need Help With

At Golden Bake, we believe every role is essential to the success of the team—and this one is no exception. We're looking for a motivated HR & Training Coordinator to become a key part of our HR Department.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a detail-focused HR & Training Coordinator to support key HR processes like training, recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee compliance amongst other things. You'll help keep everything organised and running smoothly behind the scenes, playing a vital role in how we support and grow our wider team.

* Arrange PPE and system access for new starters
* Monitor pre-employment questionnaires and escalate concerns
* Schedule onboarding check-ins (W1, M1, Q1) and offboarding processes
* Perform first-line payroll processing and resolve anomalies with line managers
* Ensure all employee documentation is compliant, including contracts and right-to-work evidence
* Support Employee Relations (ER) meetings by attending, minuting, and drafting correspondence
* Prepare monthly HR reports

Requirements

* Previous experience in a HR role, ideally in a fast paced environment
* Confident in delivering engaging training sessions to employees
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail—you'll be managing multiple processes across onboarding, compliance, payroll and reporting
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues across all levels and backgrounds
* Comfortable working with HR systems—experience with Softworks is a plus
* Strong Excel skills, especially for reporting and data tracking
* Solid understanding of HR compliance, including right-to-work checks, contracts, and employee documentation
* Familiarity with recruitment and onboarding processes, from job ads to induction coordination
* Ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
* Willingness to get out from behind the desk—this role involves regular engagement with production managers and employees on the floor
* Warm, approachable, and able to communicate clearly with people from diverse backgrounds, languages, and cognitive abilities
