Team Overview
The Contracts department oversees the delivery and execution of projects from initial mobilisation through to completion and handover. Acting as the bridge between design, commercial, and on-site teams, the department ensures that all contractual obligations are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. With a focus on planning, resource coordination, and problem‑solving, the Contracts team plays a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
Role Overview
The Mechanical Engineer for Off‑Site MEP and Plantroom Assembly is responsible for overseeing the assembly and integration of mechanical systems within prefabricated MEP modules and plantrooms. This role ensures the proper installation, testing, and quality control of mechanical components, including initial frame checks at subcontractors, pipework, pumps, heat exchangers, and associated equipment, in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. This role will have early engagement with upcoming projects to get ahead of what is required and have a plan in place to help the team deliver multiple projects in a timely manner.

Location: Dundalk, Coe's Road
Hours: Monday‑Thursday 8am‑5pm and Friday 8am‑3pm
Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience

What You'll be Doing
Oversees the assembly and installation of mechanical systems within plantrooms and modular MEP environments, ensuring all equipment—such as piping, pumps, HVAC systems, and heat exchangers—is installed in line with design drawings, specifications, and manufacturer guidelines. Provides technical guidance to teams, conducts detailed inspections, and ensures correct alignment, quality, and compliance of all components, including labelling and testing (pressure, flow, and leak tests). Manages snagging, documentation, and reporting through tools like FieldView, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved prior to sign‑off. Collaborates closely with design, fabrication, and multidisciplinary teams to support system integration, improve processes, and meet project requirements, while also supporting testing, pre‑commissioning, and client validation. Maintains accurate records, delivers progress updates, and ensures all work is carried out safely, in line with QA/QC standards, project programmes, and RAMS, while promoting best practices across all teams.
