CSA Estimator - Dublin Our client is seeking a CSA Estimator to join their team in Dublin due to continued growth.
This role is crucial in delivering accurate, competitive, and timely tenders for high-profile construction projects across Ireland and Europe.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and complete complex tenders over extended timeframes.
Prepare detailed estimates from drawings and project specifications.
Create comprehensive pricing documents and manage quantities.
Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing, both local and European.
Use spreadsheets to compare quotations and justify subcontractor selection.
Maintain and improve the internal cost database.
Present estimates to senior leadership, including the Estimating Director and Board of Directors.
Build strong working relationships with vendors, engineers, and suppliers.
Stay updated on construction industry trends and developments.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating procedures and quality standards.
Ensure strict confidentiality regarding all commercial information.
Identify and evaluate project risks.
Adhere to company quality and safety standards.
Specific Requirements: 5+ years' experience in Project Management or Estimating roles, ideally within CSA disciplines.
Solid technical understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects of construction.
Proven record of managing tender submissions and large-scale project estimating.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements in construction.
Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in spreadsheet analysis and cost control systems.
