About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager is a pivotal position responsible for spearheading sales growth within a designated territory in the West of Ireland. This role demands a proactive approach to business development, customer retention, and fostering relationships with distributors, OEMs, and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive sales growth through strategic business development and customer retention initiatives
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and key accounts
* Identify new opportunities across sectors such as transport, agriculture, marine, and manufacturing
* Provide technical support and guidance on product selection and lubrication performance
* Monitor competitors and market trends to identify potential growth opportunities
* Collaborate with marketing teams to deliver targeted campaigns and brand initiatives
* Prepare and present regular territory reports and sales updates to senior management
* Represent the organization at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events
Requirements:
* Demonstrated success in B2B field sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the lubricants, oils, chemicals, or related technical sectors
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities
* Comfortable discussing product specifications and applications with customers
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative sales approach
* A highly motivated self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment
* Strong organizational, reporting, and IT skills
* A full, clean driving license and flexibility to travel across the region
