About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Support Specialist to provide high-level administrative support to our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance, coordinating events, managing records, engaging with the public, and ensuring policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Admin Support: Provide efficient administrative assistance, including diary management and correspondence.
* Community Planning: Support database management, report preparation, events, and promotional activities.
* Public Engagement: Respond to enquiries from the public and community groups.
* Team Collaboration: Assist with admin cover across the service, including community centres.
* Policy Compliance: Follow all policies, including health & safety and equality.
* Performance Improvement: Contribute to service planning, efficiency, and personal development.
* Records Management: Maintain accurate records in line with data protection and FOI regulations.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs to include English Language and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications.
* The ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work.
* Successfully prioritising competing demands.
* Working with office technology ie Word Processing or Typewriting.
