ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a structured, hands-on Operations Lead to help design and implement scalable, efficient internal processes across Scarpel.
Reporting directly to the COO, this role serves as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that teams across functions operate in alignment, with clear systems and measurable outcomes that drive sustainable growth.
The Operations Lead will focus on optimizing workflows, improving communication between departments, and promoting operational excellence through visibility, structure, and accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Design, document, and implement efficient internal processes across key departments (Sales, Account Management, Routing, etc.).
* Identify inefficiencies and create scalable systems that improve coordination, clarity, and execution.
* Develop visual process documentation, dashboards, and SOPs that make workflows transparent and easy to follow.
* Drive cross-functional alignment to ensure all teams operate from standardized processes aligned with company objectives.
* Translate high-level strategic goals into actionable plans and measurable initiatives.
* Establish reporting structures that provide visibility on progress, bottlenecks, and efficiency.
* Lead the rollout of new workflows, ensuring adoption, adherence, and continuous improvement.
* Encourage operational discipline and ownership across teams.
* Support internal communication by standardizing how teams share updates, requests, and dependencies.
WHAT YOU BRING
* 5 - 7 years of experience in process management and leading operational improvement within a fast-paced, fully remote environment.
* Proven ability to design and optimize processes that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
* Advanced ability to visualize workflows using process mapping and dashboard tools (e.g., Notion, Microsoft Teams, Excel, or similar).
* Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience working cross-functionally across multiple business units.
* Hands-on, structured approach to problem-solving and implementation.
