Due to expansion within the team and an impressive pipeline of projects planned for the coming years they are looking to recruit an Estimator for their growing team.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing a range of full lifecycle build projects inclusive of commercial and domestic builds.
You will be responsible for managing e-tenders and seeking out opportunities to price projects.
Key Responsibilities: Holds responsibility for preparing competitive tenders and cost estimates for projects.
Sourcing prices for materials, labour, and subcontractors and pricing up a variety of projects.
You will work closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure that the bid is competitive while still profitable, whilst negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to get the best prices.
Analysing project drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
Identifying project risks and factoring them into the bid.
Strong focus on winning new projects ensuring bids are accurate and competitive.
Conduct continuous reviews of various tender websites and all other sources for tenders (such as E-tenders, CIS) to identify new business opportunities for tendering.
Coordinates with the client on all changes in scope, questions or clarifications regarding the work, during the bidding process.
Carry out site visits and surveys to understand the scope of works involved as required.
Complete analysis of tenders and prices received from the supply chain whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement from tenders lost, driving innovation and excellence in estimating and commercial practices.
Essential Skills: Experience as an estimator in contracting environment with proven experience on educational and commercial project bids.
In depth knowledge of building regulations and standards.
Good experience in understanding design documents, drawings and 3-D models Ability to effectively manage estimating process and associated schedules to required deadlines.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work on multiple tenders simultaneously.
Ability to working in a team environment and collaborate with various departments.
