OverviewElectrical & Instrumentation Supervisor role with Ireland rotation to Denmark. We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to join a growing engineering consultancy delivering high-profile projects across Ireland and the EU. The role involves reviewing electrical and instrumentation designs, supporting site execution, and ensuring all systems meet industry standards and client expectations.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate electrical and instrumentation design packages to ensure alignment with project specifications and industry regulations.Prepare and issue technical reports outlining compliance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.Utilize platforms such as BIM 360 and Navisworks to support collaborative design processes.Mark-up (redline) documentation for site-based teams and update as-built drawings.Develop construction documentation, including detailed cable schedules and work packs.Perform and validate cable sizing and containment capacity calculations using tools like Trimble or equivalent.Identify and track long-lead electrical and instrumentation components.Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT) for E&I systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value engineering solutions and ensure integration across systems.Provide hands-on support in troubleshooting and resolving complex E&I issues.Demonstrate technical knowledge in the following areas (not exhaustive):LV and MV power distributionSwitchgear and MCC panelsInstrumentation and control systems (including BMS, EAS, PAS, PMS)Fire and gas detection systemsEarthing, bonding, and lightning protectionEmergency power systems (UPS, battery systems)Life safety and access/security systemsData and telecom infrastructureIntegration of E&I systems across MEP and automation scopesSupport the implementation of QA/QC procedures during the project lifecycle.Review and submit technical documentation, RFIs, and First-of-Kind packages.Host and participate in E&I coordination workshops to resolve design or site-based challenges.QualificationsDegree-qualified in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or closely related discipline).Minimum 2 years' experience in an Electrical and/or Instrumentation engineering role.Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across disciplines.Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and within a collaborative project team.Senior/LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeIndustries / Job FunctionEngineering Services and Construction
